Privacy Policy

How Antebyte collects, uses, and protects your data.

This policy explains what data Antebyte collects when you use the platform and what choices you have over it. It applies to antebyte.com and the Antebyte application, and it works alongside our Terms of Service.

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Who we are

Antebyte is a self-serve advertising platform, operated from the United States: you upload a video, set an audience and budget, and we buy impressions across connected TV, mobile, online video, and display. This policy covers the data involved in running that service.

What we collect

We collect the following:

  • Account details. Your name, email address, and password. Passwords are handled by our authentication system and stored in hashed form. We do not see or keep your plain-text password.
  • Campaign settings. The audiences, targeting, channels, and budgets you configure.
  • Video creatives. The video files you upload. These are stored in cloud object storage operated by our hosting providers.
  • Impression and performance data. The records your campaigns generate as they serve, including the app or show, device, geo, and price behind each impression. The underlying ad requests carry technical fields passed by the supply path — IP address, user agent, device and OS details, coarse location, and advertising identifiers (such as an IFA) where the device exposes one. We use these to serve, log, and screen traffic (including fraud detection), not to build profiles of individuals.
  • Conversion signals. If an advertiser connects conversion tracking, we receive the events it sends us — an event name, a timestamp, an order value where provided, and pseudonymous or hashed identifiers. We process these on that advertiser's behalf, as a service provider, to attribute results to its campaigns.
  • Session and usage data. Basic technical information such as login sessions, IP address, and browser type, which we use to operate and secure the service.

Our public pages may showcase live delivery — for example, a log of recent impressions showing the app, device type, city-level geography, and price. These public views never include IP addresses, user agents, advertising identifiers, or any other field that could identify a person or household.

How we use your data

We use this data to run the service and serve your campaigns, to bill you and manage your wallet balance, to provide support when you contact us, and to improve the product by diagnosing problems and understanding how features are used. We do not sell your personal information.

Payments

Billing runs on a prepaid wallet. You add funds, and we draw them down only as your impressions serve. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details directly, and Antebyte does not receive or store full card numbers. Your payments are also subject to Stripe's own privacy policy.

Service providers we rely on

We share data with a small set of providers that help us run the service:

  • Stripe, for payment processing.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS), for hosting, storage of your data and uploaded creatives, and transactional email (Amazon SES).
  • Advertising exchanges and supply partners, which receive the campaign parameters needed to buy your impressions (targeting, budgets, creative) and return the delivery records described above. They do not receive your account details.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments. We share only what each one needs to do its job.

Cookies and sessions

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to run core features of the application. These are functional cookies tied to your session. We do not use them for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

How long we keep data

We keep your account and campaign data for as long as your account is active. We retain impression and performance records so that your reporting and billing history stay intact. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep certain records to meet legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your account details from within the application. On request, we will provide a copy of your data, export it, or delete it. To make a request, email privacy@antebyte.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on it. If you are a California resident, these are the access, portability, and deletion rights the CCPA/CPRA gives you, and we honor them through the same address; we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and reliance on established hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

International users

Antebyte is operated from the United States, and your data may be processed and stored there or in other countries where our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. By using Antebyte, you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in those locations. This policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Antebyte is established.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and our practices change. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Antebyte after a change means you accept the updated policy.
